They are made on the Big Island of Hawai`i--not imported like so-called "Hawaiian souvenirs" found elsewhere on the Internet. Use these MugMats for your hot or cold beverages. About the Mary Manila Label: Designed and created by Auntie Mary Elsie Tomas, a gifted arts and crafts wahine (woman) who lives on the Big Island of Hawai`i. Mary started her creative career at the age of 11 years old. She has been making whimsical and practical gifts for friends, relatives, and special occasions ever since. Her creations are so unique, we asked her to design a series of special Made In Hawai`i products for us. She agreed!
