Mary Manila Hawaiian Cloth Coasters are hand made (not mass made or factory produced) on the Big Island of Hawai`i--not imported like others found in souvenir stores or elsewhere on the internet. Made of Aloha fabric for flat base and stemmed ware glasses and mugs. Coasters prevent scratching of counters, coffee tables, and other surfaces. Slip-on style coasters are great for wine glasses. These Hawaiian coasters bring a level of sophistication and Hawaiian hospitality to any formal or informal occasion. Offered in Regular or Slip-on Cozy Pocket Base Styles.
About the Mary Manila Label: Designed and created by Mary Elsie Tomas, a gifted arts and crafts wahine (woman) who lives on the Big Island of Hawai`i. Mary started her creative career at the age of 11 years old. She has been making whimsical and practical gifts for friends, relatives, and special occasions ever since. Her creations are so unique, we asked her if she would design a series of special Made In Hawai`i products for us. She agreed!
